Live images with no time lag realized while still image quality level is maintained by adopting a CCD comprising 1.4 mega pixels. An IEEE1394 cable (standard accessory) is used as data communication cable, which allows high-speed and stable image transfer. Since this cable is also used for power supply, cable configuration is very simple. By using a trigger cable (option), a still image can be captured every time the joystick button of the slitlamp is pushed.
